某銀行系消費者金融が立ち上げの時、「他社よりも10%も安い金利で差別化する」と息巻いていたらしい。

金利で10%というのはべらぼうな安さである。ちょっと計算すればわかるが、実際には何倍も違う。消費者金融としては画期的な低金利である。

ところがいくら安い金利をアピールしても、ぜんぜん人が来なかったのだという。

調査の結果、判明したことは

　「消費者金融のユーザは金利なんか気にしていない。最も借りやすい無人契約機で契約する」

という衝撃の事実だった。
